Luxury Microcement Wet Room Bathroom

This project was designed to create a calm, seamless wet room that feels both minimal and considered. The focus was on removing visual clutter and introducing soft architectural features, allowing the materials and craftsmanship to take centre stage.

The entire space has been finished in microcement, creating a continuous surface across the floors, walls, and built-in elements. This gives the room a clean, unified appearance while also being highly practical for everyday use. With no grout lines and a fully sealed surface, the bathroom is easy to maintain and perfectly suited to a wet room environment.

A key feature of the design is the curved dividing wall within the shower area. Rather than using glass or sharp angles, this soft curve subtly zones the space while keeping it open and fluid. It adds depth and character without interrupting the overall flow of the room.

The shower area itself has been formed around a resin rock tray, allowing for a low profile, integrated finish. This pairs with a matching resin rock sink, helping to keep a consistent tone and materiality throughout the space. Everything has been designed to feel solid, durable, and built to last.

All brassware and fittings have been supplied by ABI Interiors. The brushed brass finish introduces warmth against the neutral tones of the microcement, adding contrast without overpowering the space. Wall mounted taps and minimal fittings keep everything refined and uncluttered.
